Stereotyping

Stereotyping
From my opinion, yes it is true most people find it is difficult to avoid from being stereotyping. My understanding towards stereotyping is, stereotyping is exaggerated generalizations associated with a categorizing system, it goes beyond the facts at hand and claims that usually have no valid basis. For me why we find it hard to avoid stereotyping is because from we were a little we practice stereotyping in our daily life. Stereotyping is something that we see and we make a judgment, for example in our country when we see someone with a messy appearance on the spot we would assume he or she is from a village. Immediately we make judgment based on he or she appearance. In Malaysia, Malaysian people usually state the obvious. Another example, in Sabah there is a war going on because sultanate of Sulu claims that they are the rightful owner of Sabah, as we know now that Sabah is one of our government fortresses. Thus, when the intruder invade Sabah and wage a war with our Government, the opposition party tends to manipulate the incident and claims that this one of the “drama” by the Government in order to gain sympathy and be a hero to save Sabah people from this terrorist. It is human nature when one didn’t get the thrust or support by others, one will assume that all of the wrongdoing is done by the opposing party, whether there are from Government side or the opposition side. Stereotyping is where humans find it difficult to avoid in the daily life, we practice it since we were in a kindergarten.

it's all about Critical Literacy

Critical literacy
Before I enter semester 4 or before I became a semester 4 students I keep hearing the seniors keep on complaining about Critical Literacy subject, they keep saying it’s tough and it’s hard to score for these subject. From the comments and complain that had been poured down to the juniors, most of the juniors became scared of the Critical literacy subject.
As for me, my expectations toward this subject, I expect Critical Literacy would be very interesting and very challenging. Why do say it is because before this I don’t even know in a simple article there is a very important message that we couldn’t see. In Critical Literacy I’ve learn what is perception, what is critical thinking, how to view things, how to create a question, how to give answer.
In critical literacy, I hope that I could learn more about thinking critically and I hope that I could expand, sharpen my general knowledge so that I may be able to think more critically and to be more specific detail. I am quite shock in learning critical literacy because critical literacy teach me the things that we see are not quite seem to be what it seems to be, it means that things that we see are not truly is the truth.

View On Pregnant Women In An Industrial Work Placement

what is my view towards 'pregnant women in an industrial placement?'

When it comes to pregnant woman, we can say in every place that we go we can see there is priority for them, in the public transport most it. From there we can conclude that these pregnant women need an attention from their family members, friends and the society.

Form my point of view, i don't think that Pregnant women should work because nobody want to take a risk towards losing their baby. One of my reason that I do not support it is because pregnant woman should get enough rest so that they don't get stress and effect their baby.
stress could do a fatal damage to pregnant woman and their child. A new study published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology finds that stressful circumstances early in pregnancy can lead to underweight babies or premature births. Pregnant women are supposed to relax while carrying their baby not go to work. Pregnant women should exercise at least 30 minutes and 3 times a week. Nobody want to lose their child, in a work place anything could happen to them anytime. For example if mother fell it will effect their baby growth may be it will cause the baby their life or least an disablement.

There are a lot of risk for pregnant women while working, woman who are pregnant should tell their bosses right a way because of the work that will affect their baby. In every company, the bosses must consider the pregnant women so that they will not be given a hard task to do, this if the women want to work but it is good for them to take a maternity leave to avoid them from the unpleasant news from happening.

Perception

from what i have seen from the video "test your brain" the video showed me that everyone has their own perception, perception is generate from 4 element that is the element of sound, the element of seeing, the element of smell, and the last element of touch.

what we see is not always as it seems, our eyes send a direct message to brain, our brain process the image that we see into a electrical signal. People are being fooled daily because of the color in our life, for example the image the color may fooled your eyes by using the shadow. people think the cube has 2 different color it's wrong. Actually the cube has only 1 color they manipulated it by adding the shadow, it change our perception instantly.

From the video there is an interesting thing about our perception that is the sound. our sight is actually can manipulate the sound that we hear, for example the sound #game 9# when the actress is actually saying "ba" but our brain are trust what our eyes are telling it and our brain changes our hearing to a phantom hearing by changes the word other than "ba", when we close our eyes the "ba" sounded more clear because our ears is more accurate than our sight.

My First Entry

hye everyone! let me introduce myself first, the name that my beloved Mother had given to me is Faliq and the name that my Father gave me is Zhafran. when they cluster it together i became Faliq Zhafran.
actually my name came from a cartoon character FELIX THE CAT, my mom love that cartoon character so much until she put it as her son's name, and yes she had to change it a little so that my name would have meaning in the islamic society.
My Father on the hand, he loves the zhafran flower so much. i think you all familiar with it.
enough about that, now i will tell a little bit about my self. I have 3 sister and only 1 brother, and i'm the third the eldest is my sister , my brother is second and then me, then my little sisters.
i was born on 16 may 1992, same as my Mother birthday. supposedly i was born on 15 may but my mother said to the doctor that she wanted me to born on her birthday 16, that's why my birthday is same as my mom.
i think that should be enough.

keep in mind that our life won't be always like a rainbow, so prepare the unpleasant weather.
